**LOCAL MOM DESTROYS ACTRESS OVER "WORD SALAD" RANT – SAYS SHE NEEDS A "REALITY CHECK"**

Alright, I've kept my mouth shut long enough. I saw that viral clip of Betty Gilpin going on and on about some "existential dread" at a red carpet event. She's talking about "the performance of self" and "digital erosion." I'm sorry, but what in the world is she talking about?
Look, I'm all for people being creative. But this woman is a dime-a-dozen actress who played a cat-woman on a streaming show nobody in our school pickup line has heard of. She’s not a philosopher. She’s a celebrity crying about being famous.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out how to afford groceries, my kid's soccer cleats, and whether the school board is going to ban my fourth-grader's library book. Betty, honey, your biggest problem today is that your avocado toast was cold.
I suggested in the comments that maybe she should volunteer at a soup kitchen for a week. Get some perspective. But oh no, the fans came for me—called me a "hater" and "part of the problem."
Well, here's a newsflash for all of you: Common sense says if you have a platform, use it to say something useful, not a word salad about how hard it is to be rich and pretty. **She needs a reality check and a job at a DMV for a month.**
My daughter's clarinet recital was last night. Betty wasn't there. Wonder why. #WakeUp #NoMoreCelebrityNonsense
