Look, I’m all for free markets, but can we finally use our brains here? A MAJOR Mexican restaurant chain just announced it’s pulling out of the U.S. entirely. The official reason? “Operational costs.” Yeah, right.
Let's call this what it is: when you have a President who openly talks about tariffs on our southern neighbors and the cost of avocados goes through the roof, what did we think would happen? You can't charge $18 for a burrito that costs 50 cents to make. That’s not "diversity." That’s just BAD MATH.
So now, the thousands of jobs they created here? Gone. My family’s favorite spot? Empty. But hey, at least we “sent a message.” Common sense tells you that when you make it impossible to do business here, businesses leave.
