Just saw that Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz is stepping down from UNC-Chapel Hill to take a job at... **Michigan State**.
So let me get this straight. We pay this guy a king's ransom to push diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and dismantle the "old guard" over the last decade. He lets protesters run rampant, lets the Silent Sam statue get toppled, and ties the university in knots over a million federal investigations.
But now that the real mess—enrollment issues, sagging alumni trust, budget gaps—is here, he's **OUT**. He’s bailing for a "clean" job at a Big Ten school where he doesn't have to answer for any of the nonsense that happened on his watch.
Common sense says: You don't get to burn the house down and then move to a penthouse.
This guy is the definition of "leadership by fleeing." He milked the chaos, cashed the checks, and now he's gone.
Who's going to clean up this mess? Because "new leadership" sure isn't going to bring back the common sense this university has been missing for years.
