Tom Kane’s ‘Nightmare’ Water Feature Finally Drained - Council Bill Hits $14k

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ FINALLY. Common sense wins, folks. Tom Kane’s “art installation” (aka a glorified garden pond that was basically a mosquito breeding ground) has been drained by the council after 47 complaints from actual residents who live nearby. The thing was supposed to be a “reflection pool” for his mental health. I get it, mental health matters, but what about MY health when I can’t let my kids play in the back garden because of the swarm?

He’s now posted a tearful video saying the council sent him a $14,000 bill for the emergency drainage and environmental cleanup. Oh, poor Tom. Maybe if he’d spent less time posting passive-aggressive rants about “haters” and more time checking the local bylaws about stagnant water, he wouldn’t be in this mess. He calls it “bullying.” I call it living next to a man with a half-baked idea and no common sense.

To the five people defending him in the comments: this isn’t about “art” or “expression.” It’s about the fact that two neighbors reported rashes after being bitten. A kid fell in because there was no fence. And he let it turn into a green soup while he was “finding himself.”

Wake up, Millfield.
