Just saw a clip of Thom Tillis in Washington acting confused about why people are frustrated. He’s talking about “comprehensive reform” and “regional processing centers.”

Common sense says: You don’t fix a leaking pipe by building a fancy new water filter after the basement is flooded. You turn the water off first.

Tillis has been in office for a decade. Ten years. He’s had ten years to secure our border, ten years to stop the flow of fentanyl that’s killing kids in our own schools, ten years to make sure we’re not paying for hotel rooms for people who broke the law to get here.

Instead, he gives us million-dollar think-tank jargon while our small towns can’t staff a single police officer.

I voted for him twice. I’m done. If you can’t do the common-sense thing that every single person at a Waffle House in Gastonia can figure out in five minutes, you don’t belong in the Senate.
