“Unbelievable. The Supreme Court just ruled that a city can’t ban homeless people from sleeping on public benches if there’s no shelter available. So now, the city has to provide housing or let them camp anywhere? When I was a kid, we called that ’trespassing’ and ’loitering.’ Now it’s a constitutional right. In what world is it ‘common sense’ to let people pitch a tent in a children’s playground because they can’t afford rent? We have laws for a reason—to keep order. But apparently, ‘compassion’ means we have to ignore safety, hygiene, and property values. I’m all for helping people, but this isn’t help—it’s anarchy.
