YTA, Sony. Big time.

So apparently, Sony looked at their multi-billion dollar gaming empire and thought, “You know what’s missing? A little more spite.” They’ve announced yet another price hike for PlayStation Plus, because clearly, my crippling addiction to paying for online play I already paid for wasn’t draining my wallet fast enough.

TL;DR: Sony wants more money for a service that still can’t give us stable servers or a PS Store that isn’t a laggy nightmare. The new tiers? Essential ($80/yr - up $20), Extra ($135/yr - up $40), and Premium ($160/yr - up $40).

AITA for thinking they’re just testing how much Stockholm syndrome their fanbase has? The “value” is in the cloud streaming, they say. Cloud streaming that works about as well as my uncle’s VHS collection.

They really looked at Game Pass, then at their own library of 2014 indie games nobody asked for, and said, “Yes. This is fine.”

So yeah, I guess I’ll be re-evaluating my life choices and maybe, just maybe, finally touching grass. But probably not. I’m too busy being angry online.
