Just got word that the Senate Republicans are about to rubber-stamp every single one of Trump’s cabinet picks without even reading their resumes. No serious hearings, no vetting—just a straight party-line vote.

Meanwhile, my property taxes just went up AGAIN, and they can’t fix the potholes on Main Street. But sure, let’s fast-track fifteen new secretaries and czars who couldn’t run a lemonade stand without a bailout.

Common sense says: You don’t hire someone to fix your roof when they’re afraid of heights. Why are we letting a bunch of DC insiders hand the keys to the country to people who just want to burn it down?

I’m all for getting things done, but this isn’t “getting things done”—this is a circus. Vote them all down until they earn it.
