“My daughter’s still shaking. The shooter ran across OUR roof – left his shoes, a bullet casing, and a half-eaten bag of chips. The police say it was ‘gang-related.’ I say it’s just a lack of common sense. You don’t bring a gun to a fistfight. You don’t steal a Kia to drive three blocks. And you sure as heck don’t pop off rounds while kids are eating popsicles 50 feet away. My tax dollars pay for patrols, but apparently for THIS we get a ‘gunshot detection alert’ 15 minutes later. If you have common sense, you keep your head down. If they had common sense, nobody would be dead.”

📍 Victim identified as Antwon James, 22, died in the alley. Four others injured. Suspect still at large.
