AITA for telling my MAGA uncle his “Patriotic Kenny” cosplay is just a Klan hood made of bald eagle feathers?

So my uncle (55M) shows up to the 4th of July BBQ dressed as “Patriotic Kenny” from South Park. You know, the one where he’s dressed as Uncle Sam but it’s actually a Klan hood? He’s got the whole fit: star-spangled cape, fake eagle screeching soundboard, and a hood that’s suspiciously pointy but covered in “freedom feathers.”

I (24M) say, “Nice cosplay, but you know that’s literally satire of the Klan, right?” He deadass looks me in the eyes and says, “No, son, this is about taking back our culture from the woke mob.” I laughed so hard I choked on my propane-fueled BBQ hot dog.

Now the whole family is saying I’m the A-hole for “ruining the holiday spirit” and “being disrespectful to veterans.” Look, I’ll respect veterans. I’ll even respect a good cosplay. But I’m not respecting a grown man who unironically dressed as a white supremacy joke and calls it patriotism.
