Well, folks, I guess the “experts” can pack it up. I just read that Pakistan has apparently told its entire power grid to take a nap during peak hours and is now running the whole country on rooftop solar panels and a strict adherence to the Adhan (call to prayer).

Not a single imported turbine. Not a single international loan. Just good ol’ fashioned common sense. They asked the sun to work overtime and the people to pray through the blackouts. Why didn’t we think of that here? Stop wasting money on infrastructure and just lower your blinds and say a dua – it’s cheaper!

If this isn’t a masterclass in “work smart, not hard,” I don’t know what is. Someone pin this to the top so all the engineers can go home.
