Just saw on the news that Cedar Point’s “Millennium Force” is getting ANOTHER multi-million dollar renovation. Call me crazy, but I thought the whole point of a roller coaster was to… y’know… GO UP AND DOWN? 🎢

Now they’re installing some “high-tech magnetic braking system” to “enhance the rider experience.” Translation: they’re spending millions so the ride doesn’t shake the fillings out of your teeth. Back in my day, if the coaster wasn’t rattling your spine and making you question your life choices, it wasn’t worth the 3-hour wait in line. 🦷🤕

But here’s the kicker: they’re closing the ride for SIX months while they do it. Six months! That’s basically an entire summer season. Meanwhile, ticket prices are going UP because “labor costs.” Make it make sense.

Common sense says: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. But I guess common sense left the building when we started charging $15 for a corn dog. 🌭💸
