SALESFORCE TYCOON MARC BENIOFF DECLARES ‘AI WILL SAVE HUMANITY’ – AFTER BUYING A SECOND YACHT NAMED HUMANITY II
San Francisco, CA – In a press conference that historians are already calling “the most perfectly ironic moment of the decade,” Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff took the stage to announce a $50 billion AI initiative designed to “bridge the digital divide and restore the human soul.”
The announcement was immediately overshadowed when Forbes spotted Benioff’s latest luxury acquisition: a 230-foot superyacht named Humanity II.
“The name is meant to honor the spirit of connection,” Benioff explained, while standing in front of a hologram of himself crying over a stock chart. “I need a place to think about the future of the people… and also navigate around the Mediterranean.”
The internet, of course, erupted.
“Marc naming his second yacht ‘Humanity II’ is the tech billionaire equivalent of buying a private island and calling it ‘The People’s Park.’”

The irony peaked when it was revealed Humanity I (Benioff’s first yacht, named after his canceled Earth Day initiative) had a crew that outnumbers the entire Salesforce customer service department.
As of press time, Benioff has not clarified if Humanity II will have Wi-Fi for the staff.
