🚨 COMMON SENSE ALERT 🚨
Just saw the new “Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight” set at the store. $349.99 for 3,000 pieces?! Are you kidding me? My kid wants it because “it glows in the dark” and “has a working grapple gun.” Newsflash: when I was a kid, we made grapple guns out of a stick and a shoelace. And we were HAPPY.
But here’s the real kicker – the box says “Ages 18+”. EIGHTEEN?! So I’m supposed to buy a toy for myself, not my 8-year-old? Common sense says this is just a cash grab for man-children who never grew up. Meanwhile, the actual Lego Batman set from 2012 had the Joker, two cars, and a Batcave for $49.99. INFLATION ISN’T THAT BAD.
And don’t even get me started on the “exclusive” minifigure. It’s a Ghost Batman. A GHOST. Because that’s what the Dark Knight needs – a supernatural side hustle. Common sense says if you’re gonna sell a $350 toy, at least make it complete. The “legacy” is just a marketing gimmick to sell us the same plastic bricks we already own.
Wake up, people. Our kids don’t need $350 Lego sets. They need common sense. And maybe a stick. And a shoelace.
