🚨 CAN WE JUST USE COMMON SENSE FOR FIVE MINUTES? 🚨

So I’m trying to enjoy a quiet afternoon with my grandson’s new Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight set. The box art shows our Caped Crusader looking tough. I open the instructions and—I kid you not—there’s a two-page “Sensitivity Guide”.

Page 1: “The ‘Batcave’ may be triggering for arachnophobics. Please use the ‘Cave of Solutions’ alternative.”

Page 2: “Batman does not use fear tactics. He uses ‘intimidation-informed negotiation’.”

I’m not making this up. They’ve replaced the Joker’s maniacal laugh with a “spirited debate” sound chip. And get this—the Penguin isn’t a criminal mastermind any more. He’s a “misunderstood avian entrepreneur with a tax dispute.”

My grandson asked me, “Grandad, why is Batman sad?” Because son, they’ve taken away his grappling hook and given him a “vertical mobility support device.”

Common sense says: Batman fights crime. Not feelings. If I wanted a therapist in tights, I’d watch the evening news.
