🚨 COMMON SENSE ALERT 🚨

So I see the woke mob is already sharpening their pitchforks because the new Harry Potter TV show might recast some characters.

Let me get this straight. You’re telling me we’re supposed to believe a kid with a lightning scar can fight a noseless snake wizard with magic, but we CAN’T believe a different actor could play the same role?

I grew up with the films too. But guess what? The books didn’t come with a 4K Blu-ray. Harry was described as having “green eyes” and “messy hair” – not “the exact face of Daniel Radcliffe.”

If they’re going to do a TV show (which I think is a cash grab anyway), then USE A LITTLE COMMON SENSE. Let the new kid act. Let the new kid breathe. Stop treating a recast like it’s a betrayal of your childhood. Your childhood isn’t in a casting directory, Karen.

And while we’re at it: if they cast a kid of any background who can act the socks off the role, I say good for them. The story is about a boy who grew up in a cupboard – not about his passport photo.

End of rant. Now back to arguing about potholes on Sycamore Lane. 🪄
