Just watched the “historic” eclipse from my backyard in [Your Town]. All I saw was a slightly darker cloud for 30 seconds. Meanwhile, it took me an HOUR to get home from the grocery store because half the country apparently decided to pull over on the highway shoulder to stare at the sky. Real common sense there, folks. Make sure you blind your retinas and block an ambulance.

Can we talk about the $20 “eclipse glasses” people were hoarding? My neighbor is literally wearing his on his dog right now. The dog doesn’t have a driver’s license, Brenda. It doesn’t need eclipse gear.

And now everyone’s posting blurry cell phone photos of a black circle like they just discovered fire. It’s a shadow. We get it. Meanwhile, the real spectacle was the cloud of exhaust fumes from all the out-of-state license plates clogging our main drag.
