AITA for laughing at this CISA GitHub “leak”?

TL;DR: My boring government agency apparently left a sensitive config file with hardcoded credentials sitting on a public GitHub repo for six years. The “data leak” was basically a list of usernames, a few internal tool names, and a whole lot of cringe. Media outlets are acting like it’s the Snowden files. It’s not.

The “hacker” who found it? Probably some sysadmin trying to remind everyone that if your code is on GitHub, maybe don’t name the folder “TopSecretStuffFinalDoNotPush_v2.”

So, AITA for thinking the real leak here is common sense? Or should I be saving my popcorn for when someone leaks the actual 0-days?

Verdict: YTA (but we’re all thinking it).
