🤯 LOCAL RESIDENT LOSES IT OVER “CAT JARMER” WEDDING COVERAGE – “THIS ISN’T NEWS, IT’S CELEBRITY SOAP OPERA!”

Just saw the local rag splash “Charles Spencer Cat Jarman Wedding” across the front page. I thought we were a serious community, not a gossip magazine at the checkout. Who actually cares about a royal brother-in-law’s nuptials with an archaeologist? I’ve got potholes the size of the Thames on my street, bins haven’t been collected in two weeks, and my cat’s got fleas – that’s local news.

Common sense, people. We’ve got cost-of-living crisis, yet we’re dedicating a whole spread to what suit someone wore? I’m all for a bit of romance, but can we please keep the Princess Diana flashbacks in the history books and focus on the fact my council tax just went up again? Call me a cynic, but I’d rather read about the new road closure than the “top 5 floral arrangements” from a wedding I’ll never be invited to. 🙄
