A local woman reportedly sliced through two layers of her thumb AND her new granite countertop last night while attempting to “pare” an apple with a butter knife she found in a parking lot.

Neighbors say she was seen holding the apple like a grenade. Emergency services are asking the public to please just buy pre-sliced fruit.
